
This week has been hectic! So just a short one form me this week. This week
has been a bit of a struggle to fit all my runs in. Netball started up this week, I've
picked up a few extra shifts at work and tech assignments have decided to creep
up on me. It's been full on! I managed to fit in a few runs though.
I did a couple in the morning which involves lovely 6am starts but it's worth it.
It gets the run out of the way and you don't need to think about it for the rest of
the day (can't wait for daylights saving to finish). I've also started to find my long
runs are getting a little easier which means the fitness must be improving.
Although, just as I'm getting the hang of the long runs I get a lovely e-mail from
Corey (from Hamilton Hawks) that I need to start increasing my longest run to
over 20km – whooppeee! As much as this doesn't sound very appealing I know
that those longer runs are the key to being able to run a good half which I am
determined to do. So bring on this Saturday's run!
