22 May Pulford makes it two in a row

Hamilton City Hawks' speedster Aaron Pulford made it two out of two when he won the 31st Solid Energy Huntly Half Marathon in perfect conditions today at Huntly.

The 20 yr old made a winning break at the 15 km mark to finish in a Personal Best time of 1:06:06 36secs ahead of Aucklands Stephen Lett. with Kyle Mc Donald a further 1min 39sec behind in 3rd.

Pakuranga's Lisa Robertson ran the fastest women's Huntly half marathon time since Gail Rear in 1985 in recording 1 hr 13: 28 ahead of Helen Rountree and Rachael Kingstone

2820 Participants took part in the 3 events.

Steve Rees Jones won the 2XU 10km narrowly from Jonny McKee in 30:39.

Mikayla Neilsen took out the women's division in a time of 35:36
